I think it is important to show respect because it makes everyone feel joyful and good about themselves. Respect can be shown in many ways by respecting the environment, friends & family, your own property, and yourself. You can show respect by doing as little as writing a note saying nice information about someone or as little as picking up some trash or opening the door for someone. There are so many ways to show respect and when you show it, there is a big chance that you will receive and enjoy it just as much. Respect is important because it can help the world one person at a time and it can influence people to start respecting people more often. In my opinion I think it is a good thing to show because it brings joy into peoples lives and it is a good way to make people feel better about themselves.
