In New Zealand there are different types of government. Legislative, Executive, Judaical. Legislative government - Parliament makes the laws.
Executive - Government: Cabinet - Develops and administers laws.
Has the power to make decisions
Judaical - Courts, judges - has the power to interpret laws (what they mean and how they work).
An Interesting fact:
- In 1893 women were granted the vote after a petition with 32,000 signatures was presented to parliament.
