Homework!

For this homework we had to do an alphabet poem and the theme was business and company's. this is one I did that ended up on the wow wall in 7SH.
 

Persuasive Letter Writing

Here is my writing. this term we were learning about persuasive writing, so our goal was to write a letter to someone about a problem we have had here is what I writ.

Dear: Mum

I am writing this letter Because, Bryce is really annoying and I want him to stop but he won’t listen to me. Can you do something about it?

I feel frustrated at Bryce when he is doing all of these three things below, Separately or together.3

• 1: He doesn’t listen because he has his chromebook sound too high or he just doesn’t listen in the first place.

• 2: Bryce will just keep asking for something until he gets it or he will go off and throw a big tantrum.
• 3: If I tell him something to help him when he has been told off he will yell at me, punch me or like in the first thing, he won’t listen.

I will explain it in more detail further down the page.

P1: My first reason. Bryce will never listen. Sometimes he can’t hear us because he has his chromebook volume up or he is too addicted to it. Or Bryce just doesn’t want to listen because he is annoying me or he is trying to get attention. The last thing for this reason is that when ever he is carrying Thomas my little brother around and he holds Thomas in awkward ways and he hurts him, but he won’t listen to me and put him down because he wants to do it himself. This is one of the things I want him to stop.

P2: Reason 2! Bryce is that kind of person that he will ask for something until he gets it. Sometimes he acts like a spoilt kid but when he doesn’t get what he wants he will throw a tantrum and cry about it, or he won’t communicate with us for like an hour. Bryce can be a pain but when he get’s told off we all get the punishment because bryce lies so he can get it his way, so you guys believe him as well as me so we both get in trouble.

This is something that really annoys me.

P3: Reason 3! After we all get told off I try to give him some information about what he could do so he doesn’t get told off as much or at all. But like in the first paragraph, he doesn’t listen, he tries to punch me or hurt me in any way or he yells at me and then I get in trouble for apparently doing something to annoy him. If he hurt me he only gets in even more trouble and gets told to stay in the room for longer.  If bryce would listen to me he might even get further in life. So please help me sort out his attitude.

Therefore I have a strong opinion about Bryce.  As we all know that he doesn’t listen because of his chromebook. He will always ask for something until he gets it, and he get’s told off too much. So hopefully you can help me make this change too his attitude after you read this.

My Writing Explanation

This is our explication writing that we did on scooters. half of us was with scooters and the other half was against scooters. this is what I writ.

Dear Mr Sutton

In my opinion, we should not be able to use scooters at Hornby High School because it is to dangerous for other people at morning tea and lunchtime. That do or don’t have scooters incase you hit them. Don’t you have the feeling that scootering around the school is really dangerous?

Also Your scooter might even get stolen as well and There's no rume to put them in class.

The main reason that we shouldn’t have scooters at school is because there are too many hazards like the redevelopment, with all of the construction going on, there are also lot’s of stones on the paths around the school. If you think of it, there is also a pretty massive chance that you will Crash into other students with or without scooters aswell, because you might be racing someone or you might also be having a game of S,C,O,O,T which is a game where you do a trick and then the other person has to do the same trick and you take turns in that game you might get really hurt.

The second reason is there is no where to put them when you get to class. Even if you do put them in class, there will be no rume and you might get too distracted by them when you are trying to do your work. Like if you are in science, and you are doing an experiment and you might get distracted and you might get distracted and put the wrong thing in and it explodes. Also there is a high safety hazard, in case there is a fire and you will need to get out fast, you might trip over the scooters and injure yourself.

The last point is that you might have your scooter get stolen by other students that would probably be jellicious of it. Also students that you didn’t let them have a go. Your scooter might also be a really expensive. For example you are doing tricks and another student wants a turn and you don’t let them and then you let your friend have a turn, then they might get a little jellicious and they might take it too have a turn. Also you might forget it in class if you take it too class, and then someone might claim it as theres. After they have stolen it they will probably take it home and change the parts and then you won’t recognize it as yours.

I Think Hornby High school should not have scooters because it is to dangerous and there are too many risks that your scooter will be stolen, you might hurt someone or you might fall off because of the construction.

This is why I don’t think scooters should be used at Horny High School.
