Writing

This term we are working on fairy tails and myths for our writing. We had a task where we had to use a fairy tail and recreate it with our own characters and setting. This is the Orientation for my story.

Boring, I know. Once upon a time, there were three little dogs. Yeah dogs, and they were very fluffy
but sometimes they don't think about decisions very well. These three little dogs were living with their
mother in a small dog kennel in the snowy forests of Alaska. They loved it there.

Once they were old enough, they were kicked out of the kennel by their big chubby father dog. The
dogs didn’t really like each other that much so they decided to make kennels away from each other.
Oh by the way, The dogs names are Andre, Caleb & Aiden. Andre went off to the nearest KFC
restaurant and scabbed some KFC from other customers so then he could build his house. Andre took
the KFC to his spot he wanted to build his kennel at. At least he wouldn’t go hungry.   Aiden wanted
his kennel to be invisible but he knew that wasn’t going to happen so he built his house out of cloth
and sticks for supports.. Meanwhile Caleb had quite a bit of work to do because he wanted his house
too be built out of pig meat. It took him quite a long time to kill all the pigs he needed to make his
house.  Later that day he took a cart to collect all the meat and went off into the forest to build his
house. Eventually they had all managed to build their houses successfully and they all looked pretty
good.

About 10 minutes down the track. Was something fearless, scary, and hungry. Only if the dog's knew
what was going to happen…

  1. Hi Aiden

Well done on sharing your orientation for your story to your blog. I like the sounds of what you have got so far, and the way you are adding specific details to bring the story to life.

My suggestions are to make sure that your font is the same all the way through. It's a simple thing, but it will look much more professional and put together when it is all uniform.

I look forward to reading the next bit of the Three Little Dogs!
