So today for P.E we were still preparing for athletics which is next week, Thursday. The events we did were shot put, sprints, and javelin. In our group was Aiden, Alesha, Alex, Kayla, Ian, and Rojan. We decided that our group goal was to have fun and support one another without being rude. The skills involved for shotput was how you were going to throw the shotput and how your posture is. After we moved to sprints/javelin the skills for spirits that were needed were how to start off (starting position) and the skills for javelin were how you throw it and the way your wrist goes after you have thrown it. Where to next is just doing the activities we need to work on for next week we all think this is going well so far and to take measurements so we can record results.

Make the report eggs-act
One of the king's men was asked to write a report for the Nursery Rhymes Gazette. He does not have the slightest idea of where to put his full stops and capital letters for the beginning of sentences. Correct his work: we arrived at the scene of the disaster at about 1 pm poor Mr Dumpty was lying on the ground with what seemed to be a fractured shell he was moaning a lot and blamed a loose stone in the wall where he was sitting before the accident the other men and myself tried to give Mr Dumpty first aid, but the sticky tape and super glue just would not work we called the Cackleberry Ambulance but they would not come they thought we were just yolking.

So today we made a potato salad. So we were told to make a blog post saying what hygiene steps we took before during and after the practical. So before i washed my hand wiped down my working bench and then washed all the vegetables. During we used different knifes and cutting bored to stop cross contamination and after we washed all of our dishes and wiped down our bench again.
Our food had the texture of a potato salad. and the colour was mostly white with mustard in it.

Spirituals
Today in social studies we were learning about spiritual songs. To me spirituals are something mostly slaves sung as an upbringing / lifting their spirits. them songs gave them hope and gave them something to look forward to. This helped slaves very much due to many people managing to escape.

P.E
So today in p.e we practiced shotput and long jump.
Shotput
In shotput today we learnt how to do a basic move up. so we stood at the top of the circle and then we took to small steps back. After that we then stood with our dominant leg at the back depending on what our strong foot is. then we did a tittle skip up take two steps in the stance you were standing in and then we push the shot put forwards while twisting to face forwards.
Longjump
For long jump at the start we took 21 steps back from the pit then we stood in a line. run up to the pit, jumped and went as far as we can and then land two feet.

Representation in a text
So in the Text Somewhere that's green we watched it was very stereotypical. We saw the females dressing in poofy dresses, Wearing makeup, doing all of the house work aka cleaning, cooking, being the perfect wife. The men were outside doing the (manly) jobs. Mowing the lawns, playing with the dog. In this one she was looking at like washing machines and stuff in the magazine at the start of the musical.
Legally blonde
In this musical the female in it was really expressive and loud. She was also wearing bright colours . She was showing how she can be as loud and expressive as the males in the video. In the first musical she was quiet and this musical she was loud. Some of the stereotypes stayed the same throughout both because of things like the blonde hair, they were both wearing dresses and slight bright clothes. The main character was bright and all of the other people were wearing dull clothes and like blending into the background.
Synopsis:
In the advert they went to the bar and their was a designated driver that wasn't meant to drink but he started drinking and then he drove home and then he crashed and ended up killing one of his friends. He loses his friendship because of it.
If you drink then drive your a bloody idiot
In the second advert there were people at a party and they were all drinking then one of the people were thinking about what could happen if his mate died. The he stood up and told his friend to not drive and to just crash at the location of the party.
Stop a mate from driving Bloody legend
Q 19. I don't think the text is fair because the text is only based around people at late teen - young adult age and the people in it are mostly Maori and Pacific Islander.
Q 10. The young adults have been betrayed as irresponsible with alcohol
Q 23. In this text their is only young adults, They have represented cultural groups very unfairly because they are all Maori / Pacific Islander so it is very bias.
Q 26. In the first text is intended to scare you so then you don't go and do it.
In the second one it is made to be funny so you remember it.
