Last week for home economics we were making Scones. The first thing we did was got all of the dry ingredient's and put them all into a medium size bowl. Then we sifted all of the ingredient's to then it is all broken up and so then there are no unmixed ingredient's in the scones. We finely cut butter into the mixture until it resembled bread crumbs. Slowly added milk into the mixture and mixed it with a knife and our hands until lit formed a nice dough for the scones. We rolled the scones into small balls and then we placed them on the trey with baking paper and then we slowly covered them with a thin layer of milk. we baked it at 180c for 10 minutes (until it is golden brown) We let them cool and then we were to take them off the try and take them home (or eat them there).
